IMPOSTOR SYNDROME: Good if You Have It

Impostor syndrome is self-doubt of intellect, skills, or accomplishments among high-achieving individuals.

The more we know, the more aware we become of our knowledge's boundaries. Although doubt is essential for advancing science, it quickly becomes a plague in any decision-making when people who know a lot want to know a little more. Thus, they waste time and lose any opportunity they could have, while people without such doubts can grab it.

The rule of thumb is simple: if you have impostor syndrome, you are already good enough.
